In 1963, the people of Bristol stood together for fairness.

The Bristol Omnibus Company would not employ Black and Asian people as bus drivers or conductors. That was unfair, so Bristol's Black community organised a peaceful protest. People chose not to travel on the buses, and after four months the company changed its policy.

This one-week pack introduces children aged 5–7 to the Bristol Bus Boycott through an immersive, age-appropriate story about fairness, courage and working together. It gently opens up conversations about treating people equally and standing up for what's right.
