A thriving neighbourhood. A devastating attack. A story that deserves to be remembered.

Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, became known as Black Wall Street for its flourishing Black-owned businesses and strong community. In 1921, the Tulsa Race Massacre devastated the district, and this history was suppressed for many years.

This one-week pack introduces children aged 7–11 to what Greenwood's community built, what happened during the massacre and why remembering the full story matters. It connects achievement and enterprise with thoughtful exploration of racism, justice and resilience.
