Busy shops. Proud business owners. A neighbourhood built together.

In the early 1900s, Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was a thriving community of Black-owned shops, banks and businesses. It became known as Black Wall Street, a place where people worked together and took pride in what they created.

This one-week pack introduces children aged 5–7 to Greenwood's achievements through a gentle, age-appropriate story. The focus is on community, enterprise and pride. It acknowledges that the neighbourhood later faced something very sad, without describing the violence.
